Overview

Summer in London. A massive spicy scandal strikes the city! Mei, freshly moved to England and ready to start her new life, wakes up one day to find her taste buds have gone rogue! Follow Mei and best friend Jessica as they deal with the repercussions of a life without taste and their mission to retrieve Mei’s senses, whilst the tastebuds boldly take over the Arts, start their own cooking show and cause a real uprising in their combat against blandness.

Buds, Revolt! is a pungent, playful and poetic absurdist comedy exploring food, migration, identity, and the chaotic in-between spaces we inhabit when we don’t quite belong.
